Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities Include:

  • Work with vendors for: firewood, propane, etc
  • Coordinate with any vendors or contractors for capital improvement projects or operational projects, lead by corporate
  • CPO certified
  • Licensed driver
  • Any required state licensing for amenities
  • Schedule staff for volume of park
  • Train staff in their duties
  • Will need to be knowledgeable in electric, plumbing and equipment operation
  • Will need good communication skills
  • Will need to deal with customer complaints and concerns
  • Assist hospitality manager in overseeing each department
  • Head up and hire security staff, train security staff
  • Maintenance on park equipment: weed eaters, mowers, tractors, etc

As well as:

This individual should be able to perform everything above as well as have an understanding of how the cafe runs, housekeeping protocols, work closely with the activities/recreation department to ensure all events happen.

  • Must be able to work out doors
  • Must be friendly and courteous and strive for excellent customer service
  • Maintain park lawn, weed eating, picking up debris, leaf blowing
  • Site clean up: cleaning out fire pits, garbage removal
  • Deliver firewood, fill propane tanks
  • Must be able to drive a golf car
  • Assist activities/recreation department when required for event set up and break down
  • Will need to become very familiar with campground layout, sites, lodging units as well as the rules and regulations at the campground
  • Pressure washing buildings
  • Basic electrical and plumbing skills
  • Vacuuming pool
  • Trained to run park specific amenities
  • Basic regular maintenance: painting, changing a faucet, etc.
  • Should be able to lift 75 pounds
  • Maximum customer interaction, must be able to handle customer complaints and inquiries
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays

*This maintenance supervisor position could be a year round position. This individual can get general maintenance done while the park is closed to customers, repainting, repairs, etc.
